The international law department has held a guest lecture on “State Limitations to Identify Forms of Exploitation of Human Trafficking Based on International Legal Instruments” which took place in the 6th floor Auditorium of Building A, Faculty of Law, University of Brawijaya on Tuesday (04/16/19)
This guest lecture presenting Ayu Hannah Zaimah as Project Assistant II Counter Trafficking and IOM Labor Migration Unit in Indonesia and moderated by Hikmatul Ula, S.H., M.Kn as FHUB academics.
The program began with a joint quiz about general knowledge related to human trafficking followed by participants and continued by the screening of videos on human trafficking. The material presented is related to the international legal framework relating to human trafficking, key elements of human rafficking, differences in migrant smuggling and human trafficking, as well as various examples of cases of human trafficking both in Indonesia, in the ASEAN region, and in the world.
The event which was attended by 100 participants from students and academics was closed with a question and answer session and souvenir giving.(AZL)
