BLC in collaboration with the Law Laboratory FHUB conducts training on Legal Aspects and Guarantees in Ship and Aircraft Leasing Agreements & Leasing Contracts in Ship Procurement, held in the auditorium 6th floor Building A, Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya, Tuesday (05/07/2019).
The seminar was attended by 100 participants from academia, practitioners and students beginning with remarks by Bahrul Ulum Annafi S.H., M.H as FHUB academics and moderated by Setiawan Wicaksono S.H., M.Kn as FHUB academics.
The Event were also present as speakers including Prof. Dr. Peter Mahmud Marzuki, SH., MS., LL.M (Professor of the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University) and Dr. Endang Sri Kawuryan SH., M.hum (Notary in Malang City).
First speaker Dr. Endang Sri Kawuryan SH., M.Hum gave an explanation of the material regarding the making of leasing contracts / leasing in the procurement of capital goods, leasing agreement deeds starting from opening, general provisions on leasing agreements, object agreements, risks and other provisions stipulated in the agreement by the parties. The parties to the lease agreement are the lessor with the lessee so that this leasing agreement creates an option right on the agreement.
The next speaker Prof. Dr. Peter Mahmud Marzuki, SH., MS., LL.M provides material on leasing agreements on ships and aircraft, starting from the process of holding a leasing agreement with the parties before a notary public, legal consequences, and discussing the possibility of a violation. Then this training was closed with a question and answer session.(AZL)
