Legal Study and Research Forum or Forum Kajian dan Penelitian Hukum (FKPH) in collaboration with the Student Association of Criminal Law (HIMAKOPI) , Faculty of Law, University of Brawijaya, Held a Law Seminar with the theme of the Polemic Legalization of Export Marijuana for Medical Purpose vs. Criminal Law. The even held on Thursday, March 5, 2020 in the 6th Floor Auditorium Building A FHUB.
The event was moderated by Rio Hattory as the Chairperson of HIMAKOPI, also present as the guest speaker Dr. Abdul Madjid, S.H., M.Hum. as academics in criminal law in FHUB and Drs. Agus Irianto, M.S.I. as the head of National Narcotics Body (BNN) in Malang.In order to create continuity and synergy, the problematic context regarding the proposed Marijuana as an export commodity must of course have to see and hear from a variety of perspectives both in terms of its legal science and glasses in the medical world.In the perspective of criminal law, it is very clear that narcotics itself is an unlawful object to carry out trading activities because it is against the law as explained in the Narcotics Act, but if it is reviewed in the perspective of the world of health (medical) narcotics itself basically has an aspect usefulness to humans, especially in dealing with psychological or human psychology.
The seminar also held a Teleconfrence with 42 University in Indonesia, then the seminar ended with a question and answer session. (AZL)
