A total of 2 teams of FHUB managed to qualify as a finalist in the Paper Competition Ekonomi Bebas Korupsi (EBK) which is organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM. Both teams consists of three students each and six students in total, namely: Maziyah CS (2012), Andi Tanaka (2012), (Mohammad Rif’an (2012), Andrew (2013), Wachid (2014), Helen (2012).
The two teams are led by their respective head of a team, they are : Andi Tanaka (2012) and Mohammad Rif’an (2013). The team of Andi Tanaka will be presenting the paper with the title of “Reformulasi Pemebrantasan Korupsi Sektor Kehutanan : Upaya Akselerasi Mewujudkan Peningkatan Pembangunan Ekonomi di Era Otonomi Daerah”. While the team of Mohammad Rif’an will be presenting the paper with the title “GreenBottle: Solusi Inovatif Kinerja Monitoring Masyarakat Dalam Eliminasi Korupsi di Era Otonomi Daerah”
As quoted from the official page of EBK, the presentation of the 15 finalists will be held at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Gadjah Mada (03/03/2015) in Yogyakarta. This year’s EBK is packaged in a series of events of Konferensi Mahasiswa Nasional from all over Indonesia. EBK 2015 is a platform of the Faculty student movement against corruption, focusing to discuss about various issues of corruption in the region along with its completion. The Grand Theme brought in EBK 2015 is “Korupsi Era Otonomu Daerah”. With a variety of considerations and studies that have been done before, this year’s EBK is expected into a movement that will provide benefits to the community and play a direct role in efforts to eradicate corruption in the regional area.
