The Law Laboratory of Faculty of Law Brawijaya University in collaboration with the Association of Constitutional Law Teachers and the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights conduct a National Seminar on the Formation of Harmonious and Responsive Legislation taking place on October 16, 2019 – 17 October 2019, 6th floor Building A, Faculty of Law, Brawijaya University.
The seminar began with an opening remarks by Dr. Muchamad Ali Safa’at,S.H., M.H as the Dean of FHUB, the event were also attended by the guest speakers, Prof. Dr. H, R. Benny Riyanto, SH, M.Hum, CN. As Head of the Republic of Indonesia’s National Legal Development Agency, Delivering material on Legal Development in Supporting the Era of Industrial Development 4.0
Submission of the second discussion material moderated by Dr. Aan Eko Widiarto, SH. MHum as an FHUB academic. the guest speaker was also present was Djoko Pudjirahardjo, SH. Mum. As the Head of the National Law Planning Center. He delivered material on the implementation and evaluation of the national legislation program (Crucial Issue of the Bill), aspects of the policy on the formation of the bill, regulatory conditions in Indonesia, three aspects of the formation of a comprehensive law.
On the Continuation, Dr. Moh. Fadli, SH. Mum. As academics, FHUB delivered material on the Criticism of the Draft Bill on Substance, Hierarchy and content material, as well as Indonesia’s national legal structure. Dr. Fitriani Ahlan S., SH. MH as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia delivered material about the procedures and institutions forming the Act, the track record of the controversial bill, and the harmonizing institution. Also in a part of the event, Virgaliano Nahan, SH. LLM. As the Coordinator of the General Criminal Division of the East Java High Prosecutor’s Office delivered material on the Criticism of the Draft Bill on Law Enforcement Aspects, then the second session continued with panel discussions on various controversial bills. The seminar closed with a question and answer session (Wednesday, October 16, 2019)
The event continued with the training on the formation of laws and regulations in the Law Laboratory 6th floor of Building C Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya (Thursday, October 17, 2019). Present as speakers were Tongam Renikson Silaban S.H., M.H as the Head of Legislation Planning of the National Legal Planning Center for the National Legal Planning Agency of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia to provide training on the process and technique of forming legislation. Kemudia Audy Murfi M.Z, S.H., M.H as the Secretary of the National Law Development Board gave training on the preparation of academic texts. (AZL)
