FH Students Participate on “The 2nd International Conference Planning in the Era of Uncertainty 2015″

3 FHUB students participate in the international conference “The 2nd International Conference Planning in the Era of Uncertainty” held by PWK Engineering, Faculty of Engineering UB. The International Conference was taking place in Gd. Widyaloka UB will last for two days, Tuesday-Wednesday (3-4 / 3/2015). The three students are; Kristiyanto (2013), Djairan (2013) and Linda Dewi Rahayu (2013). Linda, explained that in this activity they cooperate with 2 of their friends from engineering faculty, for a total of 5 students in their team.

The delegation presented a paper entitled “Innovation of the Open Green Space in the City Through an Early-Stage Urban Farming Education Based on Environmental Development”. One member of the delegation, Kristiyanto, explaining that each team is given only 15 minutes for presentation. “The majority of conference participants have a background in engineering, but we do not lose our confidence to attend an event like this” his firm. They added that they’re very proud to follow an international level events like this.

As quoted from the ICPEU official website, the “International Conference in The Era of Uncertainty: Sustainable Development” is proposed to be one of the series of activities that will facilitate the communication among researchers professionals and practitioners recognize ideas, and also establish new international research networks. The form of reinforcement of communication across scientific in this seminar is to build the communicative framework between researchers  professionals and practitioners of various scientific fields (Engineering,  Geography, Mathematics, Sociology, Development Studies and others) to jointly map out the various’ drivers’ and ‘alternative scenarios’ as an integrative solution for an update on urban and regional planning issues.
